最近广播里每天反复讲的就是“十月围城”——修锡城第一条城铁造成繁华的市中心成了铁桶一个。晚上走了一遭,果然一塌糊涂。但往好里想,等2012年修好后,从城北到城南就方便多了,而且给二号线也就是太湖——我家——市中心——城东打了个好基础,且江阴的地铁也在审批中,回头肯定要连起来,到时候去哪都方便了。

I was talking about Changzhou. Changzhou has already had a quick bus service called BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), which has its own lane in some area. This BRT has only run for a few years before the local government has an idea of building subway on the same routes. I don't know if they have city developing plans or just do whatever they would like to whenever they want.
喜欢地铁,虽然人是多了点,起码不堵车啊
Beya:You are right, and I think Changzhou BRT is more advanced than subway. Wuxi has to build subway because Wuxi's rural area is more connected and inner city is too crowded. But Changzhou has wide road and less crowds, BRT should do better.
